Welcome to Morris County Aftercare Center

Morris County Aftercare Center (MCAC) is committed to the restoration of individuals and families whose lives have been destroyed by opiate addiction. We utilize the Methadone Maintenance (MM) modality to stabilize individuals in order that they may maintain their livelihood and improve upon their relationship with themselves and significant others while they are stabilized on an appropriate dosage of methadone hydrochloride. Methadone has been used in the treatment of opioid dependence for more than 30 years. Its long-term administration has been found to be both effective and safe. Medically supervised withdrawal and long term maintenance has been standard, well-documented and one of the most successful treatments available in recent history.

MCAC is proud of the service it has provided opiate addicted adults for more than 25 years. Located in Randolph, NJ and serving persons from North Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, the highly qualified staff works tirelessly to create an environment where individuals and families shattered by drug addiction can begin to regain hope and find a sense of normalcy in daily living. Our highly trained and compassionate staff is dedicated to the work and art of serving addicted men, women and their families with the most advanced tools available, at an affordable fee. We offer daily contact with our therapeutic staff, weekly consults with staff physicians, a program designed to meet the needs of pregnant women, women with young children and any woman having gender specific concerns and needs. The staff at MCAC is trained in patient advocacy. We assist patients who are involved with DYFS, the criminal justice system, in need of medical or psychiatric referrals, and other psychosocial needs.
